The illuminated shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) is a place where all the devoted people to the holy sanctuary of Ali Ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.) has the dream of walking in and talking to the Imam (A.S.) before his holy Zarih.

A large number of the pilgrims of the 8th Imam’s (A.S.) illuminated shrine are non-Iranian pilgrims who come from different parts of the world.

A 50-person group from Lebanese Muslims went to the pilgrimage on the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) and also enjoyed the special programs of the Dar al-Rahmah portico which were provisioned by the office of non-Iranian pilgrims’ affairs.

Shrine introduction tour, showing an Arabic language film, holding series of lectures and question and answer sessions, visiting the central and carpet museums, and offering cultural and blessed products were some of the programs and services which were provided to this group of pilgrims.

Zeinab Hamud is one of the pilgrims of the Razavi Holy Shrine who has come, with her family from Lebanon, to visit this place and to talk, with other pilgrims, to this Imam (A.S.) of goodness.

In addition to going on the pilgrimage of the Razavi Holy Shrine, this lover of Imam Reza (A.S.) enjoyed the special programs provisioned by the endeavor of the non-Iranian pilgrims’ office of Astan Quds Razavi.

In describing the pilgrimage in the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.), this Lebanese lady said, “Pilgrimage is in fact flying in a holy shrine which hosts many angels coming from God’s home to show respect to that infallible Imam (A.S.) who has been buried in that shrine.”

He continued, “In fact, pilgrimage is a chance and opportunity given by the infallible Imams (A.S.). Today, when I came to the Holy Shrine for the first time, I wanted Imam Reza (A.S.) not to consider this time as my last time and to give me the opportunity to visit his shrine once more.”

Describing her first visit, this lovesick lady continued, “What I saw here was totally different from what I had made in my mind. This place is a platform for descending angels and a place for ascending humans since I know it well that approaching Hazrat Reza (A.S.) is the same as approaching God.”

Talking about her feelings in the first pilgrimage, she added, “Knowing Imam Mahdi (A.S.), accelerating his advent, and forgiving my parents were the first things that I asked for. I hope to be paid attention to in the hereafter as I could solve my problems in world by resorting to them.”

Talking about the effects of this pilgrimage on her soul, job, and life, this pilgrim said, “This pilgrimage will result in strength of my faith and will be a way to my happiness.”

At the end, expressing her happiness of the activities on Astan Quds Razavi she stated, “Astan Quds Razavi has been successful to provide various and valuable services for the non-Iranian pilgrims which is very good and the servants respect the pilgrims very much.”
